Alex Carlson

Alex Carlson is a Senior Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.  He practices oil, gas, and mineral law, with a primary focus in title examination and the preparation of drilling, supplemental, and division order title opinions.

Prior to joining Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, Alex got his start in the oil and gas industry at Kilburn Law Firm in Houston, TX before moving to Colorado where he further developed his oil and gas practice at Purple Land Management, LLC and Tyson, Gurney, & Hovey, LLC.  Most recently, Alex gained experience in the healthcare industry at Physician Health Partners, LLC in Denver, where he drafted and negotiated a wide array of contracts and provided guidance in a variety of areas related to regulatory compliance.

Alex earned his BS in Psychology from Texas Christian University.  Following this, he pursued his legal education at Tulane University, earning his Juris Doctor in 2011.

Alex is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Texas and New York and is based in the Denver, Colorado, office of Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.
