
Chris N. Sekimoto
Chris N. Sekimoto is a Senior Attorney with the Energy & Natural Resources practice group at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC, with 10 years of experience practicing transactional oil and gas law. His practice focuses on advising upstream energy companies on matters relating to title examination, due diligence, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. In addition to Texas, he has experience handling projects in Louisiana, New Mexico, Ohio, and North Dakota.
He received his B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and earned a law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he served as a staff writer on the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Chris began his legal career as an oil and gas attorney in San Antonio where he practiced for six years before moving to Houston in 2017.
Chris is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Utah, and Montana. He is based in the Houston office of Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.
