Dileep P. Rao

Dileep Rao is a Senior Attorney practicing Intellectual Property at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis. Mr. Rao is admitted to practice before the USPTO and has significant engineering experience prior to practicing law.

Upon completion of his Biomedical Engineering degree at Northwestern University, Dileep held multiple technical and commercial roles in the chemical and refining sectors. His experience includes the design and implementation of engineered pumping applications, systems design, and control systems engineering. He completed an executive MBA program at Louisiana State University and then went on to hold multiple positions in business development, marketing, and sales. He then completed his JD at University of Houston Law Center.

Dileep now enjoys practicing exclusively in intellectual property law, leveraging his business and engineering experience to custom tailor intellectual property strategies for the business needs of his clients.

Dileep is based in the Houston office of Kearney, McWilliams & Davis.
