Ian Tennery is a Senior Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.
Ian is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas and focuses on the firm’s energy practice. He is also a USPTO Registered Patent Attorney and practices in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice. He studied at the University of Oklahoma where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology for Biomedical Sciences in 2008. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and his Master's degree in Business Administration from the Meinder’s School of Business in 2011.
He advises exploration and production companies on operations, title opinions, curative, joint exploration and development agreements and purchase contracts. Ian also advises clients regarding the identification, development, and protection of their intellectual property assets, including trade secrets, patents, and trademarks. His experience also includes civil litigation, criminal litigation and private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and contract negotiation in mid-market deals.
Ian is based in the Denver, Colorado office of Kearney, McWilliams and Davis, PLLC.
