Laura Cheney
Laura is a senior paralegal at the Houston office of Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC. She assists attorneys in client matters involving oil and gas matters.
Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Houston and also obtained her paralegal certificate at the Center of Advanced Legal Studies. She has over fifteen years of paralegal experience in oil and gas law, estate planning, contracts, and real estate law.
Laura’s experience includes drafting documents for Drilling and Division Order Title Opinions for examining attorneys, assisting with the division of interest, and managing projects and workflow for both legal assistants and attorneys.
Before joining Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC, she served as a senior department paralegal and project manager for a large oil & gas law firm based in Houston, Texas, where she focused on oil & gas law primarily in Texas and North Dakota.
