Leah N. Payne

Leah Payne is an Associate Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC, where her practice focuses on upstream oil, gas, and mineral title on behalf of exploration and production companies. Her title work spans key producing formations, including the Permian Basin and Haynesville Shale.

Leah earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she competed in STCL’s nationally recognized advocacy program and placed as a regional finalist in the 2024 ABA Representation in Mediation Competition.

Based in the heart of the global energy industry, Leah practices from KMD’s Houston office and is licensed to practice law in Texas.
