Pooja Bhagat is an Of Counsel Immigration Attorney to Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC.

Ms. Bhagat specializes in immigration cases across Texas, the United States, and internationally.

Ms. Bhagat defends clients seeking asylum based on race, religion, nationality, politics, or social group.  She navigates family sponsorship and immigration for a smooth path to United States residency and citizenship, and offers expert guidance on business immigration visas and unique requirements for U.S. residency.

She attended George Washington University where she majored in Political Science with a background in international relations. She has worked at the State Department at the Bureau of Consular Affairs and the Peace Corps. Ms. Bhagat then went on to attend law school at American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. Ms. Bhagat earned her early practice certificate and worked with a criminal defense firm in Virginia, the Arlington County Commonwealth Attorney’s office, and the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office.

Ms. Bhagat has received numerous awards for her legal work as well as positive acclaim and high client satisfaction ratings.

Ms. Bhagat is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
