Wendy A. Johnson
Wendy Johnson is a Senior Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC. Ms. Johnson has experience practicing in various areas, and her current practice is split between general business law/corporate transactions and oil and gas title examination. She is an alumnus of the University of Montana School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in 2009.
Prior to joining Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC, Ms. Johnson worked as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Montana where her practice was focused on the prosecution of violent crimes in Indian Country. She previously worked as an Environmental Attorney for the State of Montana, Department of Environmental Quality, where she specialized in regulatory compliance and the environmental remediation of Superfund facilities. Ms. Johnson also gained valuable experience in oil and gas title examination as an Associate Attorney for Sadler Law Firm. Ms. Johnson began her legal career working as an Assistant Public Defender for the State of Montana, where she represented clients in criminal cases, dependency and neglect cases, and involuntary commitment proceedings.
Over the past 15 years Ms. Johnson has honed her research, writing, and courtroom presentation skills, allowing her to become an experienced litigator, negotiator, and problem solver. Her ability to listen and understand her client’s needs, issue spot, think creatively, and communicate effectively to many different audiences, has resulted in the cultivation of successful relationships with her clients and colleagues across all practice areas. A small-town Montana girl at heart, Wendy dedicated the bulk of her career to public service, and she continues to treat almost everyone she meets as though they are her neighbor. She is committed to her clients and works tirelessly to always be available and responsive.
